Season Update

Report for Kittery Little League Majors Division:
Cardinals fell to Dodgers 11-10 on Saturday on the final play of the game at Tobey Field. The game was tied at ten with Dodgers batting in the last inning when Jackson Guay singled on a 1-0 count, scoring the winning run. Jackson Guay also had a grand-slam homerun in the bottom of the third to add to the Dodgers lead at the time. Cardinals trailed by five runs in the fourth inning, but then fought back to tie the game on a triple by Rico Blackwood and an single by Kaleb Moulton. The Dodgers ended the rally with bases loaded and no outs, when Dodgers shortstop, Max Jordan, caught a deep fly ball, tagged out a runner, and threw to first for a triple play and halting the Cardinals comeback. Dodgers offense tallied 11 hits led by Jonas Byrne, Sam Abbott, Dylan D'Auteuil, Braden Daigneault, and Jackson, who all drove in runs. Christian DeMarco led Dodgers with four stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base path with 16 stolen bases. Jackson, Max, Dylan, and Jonas all took the mound for Dodgers. Camden Cyr had a long hit home run in the fourth inning. Rico, Kaleb, and Kavika Vargas, all had one hit to lead Cardinals. Kittery Cardinals stole 12 bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Joevanni Blanco led the way with three. Rico, Kaleb, and Cole Pinkham were on the hill for the Cardinals.

Report for Coach Pitch Division:
Kittery Little League Coach Pitch ended in spectacular fashion at on Saturday. The third annual Jamboree was in full swing (pun intended) to end the season. Multiple games were played between the Royals, Astros, Orioles and Tigers. With over 30 kids playing on two fields. Managers Bryan Cantara, Tim Griswold, Daniel Langdon, and Robert Graupner, all were thanked, along with the coaches, by the Kittery Little League Board for their effort and leadership with this group of players. The Jamboree ended with an award ceremony and a recap of the season by Donny Gagnon.
